About Us
How and where it all started…
Graham started his seafaring career as an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor at the Island Cruising Club & has a Commercially Endorsed RYA Ocean Certificate; he skippered the renowned wooden yachts Irina and Speedwell, as well as maintaining and sailing Hoshi and Provident, along with skippering and teaching on the North Sea 24’s at the ICC. Two seasons were spent as Flotilla Skipper in the Canary Islands and former Yugoslavia and he joined Rowhedge Boatyard, one of the last legendary east coast yards before its demise. Graham continued his career caring for more modern craft as Maintenance Manager for a Charter Company, which included commissioning brand new GRP yachts, such as Moody, Westerly, Jeanneau & Dufour, interspersed with deliveries in the Mediterranean, the east coast of America, the Bahamas and in UK waters. Graham has been based in Europe for many years with his own marine maintenance business, with his technical and engineering skills called upon from clients in the south of Spain, Mallorca and the west coast of France. In 2018 he qualified as a Marine Surveyor with the Institute of Marine Surveying.

Wen Saward
Wen takes care of the day to day running of the business and has had many years of experience in sales, and in the hospitality and marine industries, and started sailing in her late twenties; she has been hands-on working with Graham in recent years and has a considerable variety of skills, making sure things behind the scenes go according to plan.

Plumbing
Fitting of calorifiers, pressurised systems & bilge pumps; supply & installation of water & waste tanks; installation of keel cooler systems.
Shipwrighting
Interior or exterior woodworking either with hardwoods or alternative materials.
General Maintenance
Polishing, GRP repairs, antifouling, fitting of solar ventilators, davits etc.
Management
Regular checks of yachts for owners who are absent for lengthy periods of time; you decide what you would like, whether it is a periodic check, or you want a full management package.
Electrical & Electronic
For installations of electronic equipment, bow thrusters, the fitting of solar panels, battery charging systems etc.
Mechanical
General servicing, winterising & re-commissioning for sailing season.
Consultancy
This service delivers expert knowledge, working in an advisory capacity only. You may require advice for future projects, e.g. modifications, repairs and/or osmosis treatments; to oversee a contract for the preparation of repair specifications, or consulting on future yacht purchases and equipment & installations required.
